Safety First:
Footwear & Attire: All visitors must wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes or sneakers with a good grip (no sandals or slippers allowed). Long trousers and lightweight, breathable long-sleeved shirts are highly recommended to protect against brush and insects.
Wigs, Strong Perfumes, Makeups, Sagging, Hanging/ Dangling Earrings: For purposes of safety, the items listed in bold fonts are not allowed.
Supervision Ratio:
Primary Schools: Two teachers/adult supervisors for every 10 students.
Secondary Schools: At least two teachers/adult supervisors for every 15 students.
Stay on Marked Trails: The reserve is a rugged, mountainous terrain with steep escarpments. Students must be between the two teachers/adult supervisors, while the designated guide leads the pack at all times.
Leave No Trace: The reserve is a protected biodiversity hotspot. Littering is strictly forbidden. No school bag, food or ice chest containers are allowed. Students will be provided with tools for forest education purposes.
Hydration & First Aid: School groups will be provided with adequate drinking water. While our guides carry basic first-aid supplies, schools are advised to bring a dedicated first-aid kit and a school nurse. Or a nurse will be available to support visiting schools.
